    Fernando Rodriguez-Vila aka Nando Vila is Vice President of Programming. He joined the ABC and Univision joint venture as Director of Programming in January 2013 and was promoted to Vice President in October 2013.

    In 2011, Fernando joined the Univision News department. He was immediately put in charge of developing the English-language strategy for Univision, as it looked to build its audience with 2nd and 3rd generation Hispanics. This would turn into Fusion. 

    Before joining Fusion, Fernando joined PODER Magazine in 2008, the leading publication for the Latin American Business Elite. At the end of the year, he and other members of PODER founded the ABC Foundation, whose goal was to create world-class, socially conscious events geared to business leaders from the Americas. He became the Managing Director of the ABC’s inaugural event, the 2009 Reconciliation Forum in Washington D.C. featuring the likes of Archbishop Desmond Tutu, Mikhail Gorbachev, and the late Ted Sorensen as speakers.  He produced events on music as a force for social change, and Courage.

    Fernando has showed a great vision and leadership by being one of the original members that conceived the network.

    Fernando holds a Bachelor of Arts in History from Boston College. He currently lives in Miami, FL.
